With reference to your Confidential letter of
the 3rd ultimo, I have now the honour to transmit for your information copy of correspondence with His Britannic liajesty's Consul-General at kanila concerning the export of coal frau that port since the outbreak of war together with copy of a letter which I have addressed to the Consul-Ceneral for the United States of America.
I have sent a copy of the correspondence to the Secretary of State for the Colonies.
